Chapter 4:The Mysterious Woman

I tried to shake off the feeling of unease as I left the room, determined to investigate further. The whisper in my ear had left me with more questions than answers, and I was determined to get to the bottom of it.

As I walked through the village, I noticed that the woman from the forest was nowhere to be seen. But I had a feeling that she was still watching me, waiting for me to make my next move.

I decided to ask around, to see if anyone knew anything about the mysterious woman. But as I approached the villagers, they seemed to clam up, refusing to talk to me.

It was as if they were afraid of something, or someone. And I had a feeling that it was all connected to the strange occurrences in the village.

Just as I was about to give up, I saw her.The beautiful and mysterious woman from the forest, was standing in front of me, her eyes fixed on mine.

"Who are you?" I asked, trying to sound calm.

"I'm Aashi," she replied, her voice low and husky. "And you're Raj Sahay, the reporter who's been asking too many questions."

I nodded, feeling a sense of unease. How did she know my name?

"What do you want?" I asked, trying to sound firm.

Aashi smiled, her eyes glinting with amusement. "I want to show you something," she said. "Something that will change everything you thought you knew about this village."

I hesitated, unsure of what to do. But something about Aashi drew me in, made me want to trust her.

"Okay," I said finally. "Show me."

Aashi nodded, then turned and walked away, beckoning me to follow her. I did, my heart pounding in my chest as I wondered what she had in store for me.

As we walked through the forest, the trees seemed to close in around us, casting long and ominous shadows on the ground. I felt like I was walking into a trap, but I couldn't resist the pull of Aashi's mysterious gaze.

Finally, we reached a clearing, and in the center of it stood an ancient temple, its walls covered in vines and moss. Aashi turned to me, her eyes glinting with a knowing light.

"This is the heart of the village," she said. "And this is where the secrets are hidden."

I felt a shiver run down my spine as I realized that I was about to uncover a truth that would change everything. But as I turned to Aashi, I saw that she was gone, vanished into thin air.

I was left standing alone, wondering what I had just gotten myself into. But as I turned to leave, I heard a faint whisper in my ear.

"Welcome to the village, Raj. You'll never leave."

I spun around, but there was no one there. The whisper seemed to come from all around me, echoing off the walls of the temple.

And I knew that I was in grave danger.
